Hello everybody and welcome to a new feature within the blog… Guitar Duel.
This is going to be a weekly feature where I pit two legendary guitarists against each other and you lot have to vote on who you think is the better guitarist. I must admit some of these choices will be hard to bare, almost like choosing who is the favourite out of your Mother or your Father. So grit your teeth and get ready to make some agonising but amazing choices.

Right, lets get on with the first in the series. This weeks Guitar Duel is going to be between two of the greatest British Guitarists to ever pick up a guitar. Between them, they penned four songs in Rolling Stone Magazines list of the 100 Greatest Guitar Songs of All Time . Which is some feat considering Hendrix had only three in there.
Their fame rose from the 60′s and 70′s respectively and they are widely regarded as two of the best guitarists ever. Their bands? The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin. Two of the finest Rock and Roll bands in history. Of course, I am talking about non other than Keith Richards and Jimmy Page.
But the question I’m asking is, which one is better, as a guitarist?
Before you decide let me tell you a little more about them.

Who has the better technique? Which one has done more for the guitar than the other? I know this is going to be a hard choice so make it wisely. Here’s the poll :
Thank you for voting and the results will be posted on next weeks Guitar Duel. I hope your favourite wins

Jimmy Page is more skilled, but both are great, and as famous as one-another. I’ll just say Stairway to Heaven lol.

Excellent post. There’s good deal of great info right, though in order to do want to let you something – I’m running Mac the actual up-to-date beta associated with Chrome, and the actual layout of your blog is kind associated with strange for me. I can understand the posts, but the navigation doesn’t function so great.
