{ Lick That Riff! }

Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of Guitar Duel! Where I pit two of the worlds best guitarists against each other and you lot decide which is better. Simples. Last weeks post saw me pit the legendary pete Townshend against the amazing Dave Davies. You lot couldn’t decide which one was the better guitarst so that goes down as a draw. Now this weeks guitarists both featured in one of my old polls on who the Best 00′s Guitarist was, and I have to say one of them ran away with it greatly. Although for some reason I feel that this is going to be a closer affair. I believe they are more closely matched than that poll suggested. The guitarists? Of course its Jack White and Matt Bellamy.

They come from two of the most explosive bands of the Noughties; The White Stripes and Muse, respectively. They have been considered two of the best guitarists of that decade. One of the guitarists has a song in Rolling Stones 100 greatest guitar songs of all time, although I believe there should be a few from both camps.

But what I want to know is who is the better guitarist? Who rocks the best? Who has the better riffs? The better ability?

Matt Bellamy – Bio

Born: 9 June, 1978

Started Playing: 14 y/o

Influences: 1960′s Rock, Classical Music

Early Work: Rocket Baby Dolls, Carnage Mayhem, Gothic Plague

Band That Made Him: Muse

Other Projects: N/A

Guitar: Custom made guitars from Hugh Manson, Mainly his silver Manson Delorean

Best Known For: Plug In Baby, New Born, His mix of Classical and Rock

Guitar Accolades: Placed at 29 in Total Guitars 100 Greatest Guitarists Of All Time.
