I have to really get back into posting more often. It's just not on. Anyway I welcome you to quite a sad post today, as I look to remember some of the greatest guitarist that were tragically murdered or assassinated. Luckily in my whilst doing my research for this post I didn't find that many, probably about 6, but that's still 6 too many. All these musicians wanted to do was play music and make the world a better place, and instead they got savagely gunned down or killed. So let's remember them.
So here are the best guitarists that were[...]
Well there have been some really iconic albums down the years, sparking a certain something in people when they listen to the album. A music album can take you back to a different time in your life, that great summer, that first love, or it can be the icon of a generation. But aside from the music, albums can be made iconic or more iconic with the artwork that accompanies them on the front of their album sleeve. Hello everyone and welcome to another one of those weekly riffs. I have an absolute amazing guitar song lined up for you today, truly amazing. I love this song for so many reasons, for one, it reminds me of a time a couple of years ago where I hadn't played my guitar for a while, I then re-found Abbey Road and preceded to learn it and play it. And thirdly I remember just as I re-found Abbey Road and fell[...]
Hello everyone and welcome to another Guitar Duel, a battle of legendary guitarists wits, stamina and skills. These contests provide blood, sweat and tears from our guitar heroes but I'm afraid they have to be done. Well done for everyone who voted on the last guitar duel between Chuck Berry and BB King, it was close at the start but then King started to pull away and he was the winner in the end. Anyway now on to this weeks fascinating encounter between two of the best British guitarists of the 70s and 80s and two guitarists that are still[...]

Usually it's about how guitarists make their instrument wail and scream or how hard a particular musician rocks. But I thought it was time we looked at a different side of the guitar. A side that often gets neglected by some bands and guitarists, yet a side that is so vitally important for the guitar. Yes there have been guitar songs that have rocked the fuck out of my ears but there has also been those guitar songs that have soothed them. And this,[...]
